by Corrine Hunt, Kwakwaka'wakw / Tlingit
Designed by acclaimed Native artist Corrine Hunt, who also co-designed the medals for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games that were held in Vancouver. She creates fine art objects that are both aesthetically pleasing and practical in use. She is always interested in exploring unique ways to translate the traditions of her First Nations culture.

These elegant and stunning round platters come in 12" and 14" in diameter.  They feature an Eagle and Orca in a swirl pattern where Air meets Water.

The Eagle is a symbol of pride and friendship. Eagles are known to mate for life, they also symbolize great commitment. Orca, highly regarded as the guardian of the sea, is a great communicator. They symbolize Family, Longevity and Protection.

These platters are made from cold casting recycled glass and resin composite. The result is a light, durable, and heat resistant piece of art that adds another level of elegance to any dining table.

These wonderful platters are also designed where they can be  wall-mounted as decorative art as well. Each platter comes in a decorative box with information on the design as well as the artist herself. They make great gifts.
