Designed by acclaimed Native artist Corrine Hunt, who also co-designed the medals for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games that were held in Vancouver. She creates fine art objects that are both aesthetically pleasing and practical in use. She is always interested in exploring unique ways to translate the traditions of her First Nations culture.
These elegant and stunning round platters come in 8" and 12" in diameter. They feature an eagle and Orca in a swirl pattern where Air meets Water.
The Eagle is a symbol of pride and friendship. Orca, highly regarded as the guardian of the sea, is a communicator.
These platters are made from cold casting recycled glass and resin composite. The result is a light, durable, and heat resistant piece of art that adds another level of elegance to any dining table.
